The Swiss armed forces (German: Schweizer Armee, French: Armée suisse, Italian: Esercito svizzero, Romanisch: Armada svizra) operate on the land, in the air, and in water. The conscripts to the militia age from 19 to 34 and in a rare case 50. The army does not take part in armed conflict in other countries but it does go on international peace keeping missions. Members of the Swiss militia are told to keep all of their equipment at home. Switzerland has a long history of neutrality so they like to keep peace better then fight.
